Always remember for 2007:Life is short. Break the rules. Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile. This is a toast to all the beautiful ladies of 2007. For the men are fortunate enough to have us. To the losers who have lost us, and the very lucky bastards who are still to meet us.

    London Update
For all you Lj peoples (which isn't many but I think I should touch all my bases just in case.)
London is wonderful and scary all at the same time (just the way things should be) I have two of my major goals met for my time here.
the first I got a job, not just any job but the lottery of jobs, working at HARRODS Yay! I work in the food halls in the Chocolate room. It is wonderful and the people I work with are awesome too.
Second I found a flat! I'm sharing a room with an australian girl I met in the hostel I stayed at, and we're still getting a long really well.
Thats all I can think of for now, but more updates will be coming later. I PROMISE!

    Leaving for London!
Leaving for London with the sudden realization that i have no idea what I'm doing and I'm scared to death that I haven't packed enough. Everyone tells me how lucky I am, how much they'll miss me, and that everything will be just fine. I'm good with the second one, and probably the first but the last one I still need to work on. Maybe if I say "Everything will be just fine," fifty times over until the plane takes off I'll be fine.
    Here goes nothing...
Wish me luck, I'll need it!

Just to prove what a nerd I am i found out through a nerdy but good looking guy at barnes and noble that NEIL GAIMAN is speaking/reading at the riverview theater in Mpls!!!!!! I feel a sense of fangirl I have not gotten in touch with for some time now. Granted I'm giddy for reasons other than hotness... such as he's one of favorite authors and continues to write differently from any other author i've read. Muhahahahahaha... i've also purchased his new Book, Fragile Things.. haven't started it yet, but looking forward to it more than I should...
(I'm excited despite the fact that pobably no one knows what I'm talking about)

    full metal alchemist
I realise for all my non anime fan friends (which is most of you) that this will mean nothing but... I just saw anime in the THEATER.. on a huge screen with lots of other anime fans, even a little cosplay! I haven't felt that connection and undestanding about the wonderfulness of anime since I left school. so it was great to have people around me cheering on Ed and Al and all the rest. Yay for anime!

    my journey from cheeseland
I had a most successful trip to cheeseland. Saw some crazy friends and a crazy Irish festival (though it wasn't really irish due to the lack of guiness) I won a round of bingo, which is awesome because I've never won at gambling my entire life. We went to a bar called Live with a live and hot band called Element 13... mmm.. sorry what? oh right journal writing... so aside from the long bus ride I had an awesome time, and I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time there.

    A little inspiration...
To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.

To "let go" is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To "let go" is not to be protective; it is to permit another to face reality.

To "let go" is not to deny, but to accept

Okay so there are a few things I still need to let go of. There is no such thing as a "Right decision" there are just sides.

    MEGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
I realise I'm the worst ever at updating my live journal but I am filled with far too much personal amusement to pass this up. I was watching Jepordy today because I had far too much time on my hands, and the category "What's in a name" was up o the board. he answer was "The Welsh version of margerette which is also a common American name" Because everyday in Wales people told me that I had a good Welsh name.. I shouted "I am Megan' in an empty appartment. Yay for easy amusement.

Why I am going to church this weekend....
Crossing the street from Kum and Go to brattleboro me and a white pick up truck and I had a close and personal encounter. The front fender just barely tapped me on the side but it was enough to make me feel stupid, scared, shocked, paranoid, stressed, oblivious, grateful i'm alive, and feeling the immediate need to thank God all at the same time. Someone up there likes me and I thank God for it. Despite all the other stresses in my day at least I'm alive.

    I'm such a dork.....
Would it go too far beyond the bounds of geekiness if I went to the Minnesota Children's Museum to see an exhibit on anime?I'm seriously considering going. This is one of the few moments I wish my brother liked museums.....

Rugby is just an excuse for a bunch of good looking grown men to go on a field in tight shorts and beat the crap out of each other... gotta love it! I just saw my first professional Rugby match and it was quite the experience... Cheers from Fluffy. :-)

I'm here in alot less than sunny Wales, and I made it through foreign airports to get here, but it was all worth it. I haven't had much time to update mostly because we've been going on daytrips through wales. Today we went to a welsh city called swansea, there are alot of shops one was called Topshirt and I got to fancy tank tops for two pounds(about 4 american dollars)
I'd also like to post my first bar story...I went with a few of the american girls from my group to the student union, which has pool tables set up in part of it. After a couple drinks, while talking to a couple welsh guys we met there my friend sara notices that the balls on the pool table are either red or yellow except for the eight ball, and they are about half the size of the pool balls we have here. upon realising this she points to the table jus tpast the guys we were talking to and says, "those are really small balls" and one of the guy says, "how do you know? you've only been here a few days and your already knocking on our balls."
They weren't mad or anything but refused to let go of the fact the welsh balls are smaller than american balls.
    thats all from fluffy... cheers...

    Its been a while....
I realise that I haven't been updating nearly as often as I should be but here's an an update thus far. New years was alot of fun mostly because I spent it with one of my really good friends from drake. We ordered too much chinese food and I saw someone that I know from daycare and haven't seen since I was ten years old.
More recently I've been getting ready to spend next semester in Wales which involves lots of packing and multiple trips to target. I leave tomorrow evening, and I'm crossing my fingers that I haven't forgotten anything and that I can carry all my stuff through the airport without hurting myself.
I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update while I'm there but I'll do my best and if nothing else I'll be sending mass emails to everyone I think of that would want to hear about my travels. Chances are I'm forgetting some people, but hopefully someone else will think of them.
Thats it from Fluffy for a while... wish me luck.
